Precipio, Senior Business Consultant (2 years & present)
Sameeha primarily worked on deal facilitation of projects ranging from USD 500K-10M. Industries ranged from oil and gas, gems, real estate, petrochemicals and IT. She is also working in the family business spectrum with a boutique advisory firm helping family businesses in their businesses and family matters. Sameeha produced business plans, financial feasibilities and valuations as a freelance consultant for start-ups and SMEs in Healthcare, Food and Beverage, Agriculture and Real Estate. She also fundraised for a Food and Beverage concept valued at USD 1.2m and a distressed Real Estate project valued at USD 50m. Furthermore, she worked on a financial feasibility for a new entertainment concept to Dubai.

First Solar, Business Development Analyst – MENA (3 years):
development of new markets such as KSA, Qatar, Oman, Egypt and Jordan. She managed and monitored project economics and ensuring alignment with annual targets and operating plan. He role also included drafting and administration of deal documentation (MoUs,EPC and O&M HoTs, termsheets, SHA, PPA) and was solely responsible for the rooftop market module sales by working with local integrators. Key projects included: ADWEC 350MW, DEWA Round 2&3, Jordan Round 2&3, Egypt FiT programme, Shams Dubai, and other confidential projects >50 MW in the region.

Corporate Finance Analyst/Travel, Hospitality and Leisure, Grant Thornton, Dubai (1 year)

Sameeha developed complex financial models and created valuations with sensitivity analyses and scenarios for transport, education, media, real estate and hospitality projects in the Middle East. She also conducted a feasibility study for a USD 50m four-star hotel in Makkah. Other key projects included:

  • Primary and secondary research on the education sector for the Government of Abu Dhabi for a new JV with a renowned private school in the UK.
  • Created a five-year business plan for a luxury retail outlet.
  • Worked on new value added services project for the Roads and Transportation Authority, Dubai.
  • Analysed data for an expert witness report for a leading hotel dispute resolution.
    Executed market research for several industries and created hospitality reports for the budget hotel sector in the GCC.
  • Manpower reorganization and restructuring of a local conglomerate which led to a saving of USD 3m.
  • Developed corporate finance ‘info packs’ and presentations on REITs, IPOs and Islamic Finance for publication and conferences.
